Christian Moueix's Napa icon — an elegant Oakville Cabernet from the Dominus & Pétrus team.
Ulysses is the Oakville estate of Christian Moueix, the legendary owner of Pétrus, Trotanoy and Dominus. Made by the Dominus team on a dry-farmed alluvial fan in southern Oakville, the 2019 is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot — a Bordeaux-influenced Napa Cabernet of finesse over force, and a notably elegant wine in a generally opulent vintage.
An Ulysses is Napa Cabernet with Bordeaux soul. Pétrus/Dominus team, dry-farmed Oakville, Cabernet-led → elegant, linear, ageworthy → you're drinking a Napa collectible.
