The spicy 2019 Monastrell is gaining varietal character with those faint tree bark-like notes and a subtle earthiness, with dusty tannins and elegant rusticity. 2019 saw a long cycle when the grapes ripened thoroughly and achieved 13.3% alcohol while they retained very good freshness, so they fermented with 100% full clusters.
