The flagship of a "Golden Mile" estate — Tempranillo-led Ribera del Duero, neighbor to Vega Sicilia and Pingus.

Finca Villacreces sits on Ribera del Duero's fabled "Golden Mile," alongside Vega Sicilia and Pingus — an estate Robert Parker once called the region's hidden jewel. On a meander of the Duero at 700m, its poor sandy-gravelly soils yield tiny crops of intense fruit. This flagship bottling is Tempranillo-led with a splash of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, aged around 16 months in French oak.

The estate wine from a Golden Mile address is serious Ribera at a fair price. Vega Sicilia/Pingus neighbor, old-vine Tempranillo, French oak → deep, structured, ageworthy → you're drinking hidden-jewel Ribera.

  • Tempranillo with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot
  • Ribera del Duero — Golden Mile, Spain
  • Finca Villacreces — Grupo Artevino
  • 700m altitude · ~16 months French oak

Black cherry and blueberry over roasted cocoa, coffee, licorice and a mineral, balsamic edge with fleshy structure and ripe, integrated tannins. Translation: a deep, structured Ribera — dark fruit and cocoa-coffee richness on a fleshy, mineral frame with ripe tannins. Powerful but polished, and built to age.

The flagship of a Golden Mile estate. Exactly the bottle for lamb, grilled red meat, or the cellar.
