NV | Finca Villacreces Specimen #3 | Ribera del Duero | Spain
A rare "Specimen" cuvée from a Golden Mile Ribera estate — multi-vintage, Bordeaux-barrel aged, surprising and complex.
From Finca Villacreces — the "hidden jewel" of Ribera del Duero's Golden Mile, neighbor to Vega Sicilia and Pingus — comes this special "Specimen" bottling. It's an unusual wine built from two varieties across three vintages, each made separately and aged in Bordeaux barrels before being blended in large 1,200-litre foudres for around 16 months. The result respects the estate's essence while gaining rare complexity.
An experimental multi-vintage cuvée from a top Ribera estate is a collector's curiosity. Golden Mile estate, two varieties, three vintages, foudre-aged → unusual depth and complexity → you're drinking one of Villacreces' most surprising wines.
