From Vite Colte, the elite Piedmont producer headquartered in Barolo. "Essenze" is its Barolo from the commune of Barolo itself (Barolo del Comune di Barolo), a Nebbiolo of particular pedigree from the heart of the Langhe.

A complex, traditional Barolo with layered aromas of dried cherries, dried flowers, underbrush and a touch of leather, an intense medium-bodied palate, firm tannins and the crisp acidity that rewards cellaring.
