Despite the similarity in name to Gruner Veltliner, this native Austrian varietal is not related to Gruner at all. It is a unique and very old grape beloved for its rich flavor profile. An abundance of white berries and florals on the nose lead to a palate replete with fresh acidity and a somewhat nutty characteristic. A gorgeous pairing for pork schnitzel, seafood, or tahihi-rich dips.
