Brunello di Montalcino is one of the world's most renowned red wines produced. The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grape from a small zone in the southern part of Tuscany and is released after the fifth year of the vintage.
The best examples of Brunello have an aging potential of at least two decades or even more on great vintages.
The wine is typically garnet in color with aromas of red and black fruit with underlying vanilla and spice, and perhaps a hint of earthiness. The wines are usually full-bodied with alcohol levels around 14 or 15 percent abv. Good tannic structure and bright acidity provide balance.
We are pleased to share with you a magnificent selection of Brunellos from classic to new wave producers, from ready to drink to cellar-worthy, and from collector vintages to everyday enjoyment.
