About This Wine

A red Barolo DOCG from Piedmont, Italy, made by Luciano Sandrone. The grape is 100% Nebbiolo, blended from four vineyards across the Barolo zone: Baudana in Serralunga, Villero in Castiglione Falletto, Vignane in Barolo and Merli in Novello. The first vintage was 1990.

Luciano Sandrone started making wine in the family garage in the 1970s and now runs the Barolo estate with his son Luca. The estate works only with Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto, and every fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts.
