(80% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, aged for 30 months in used American oak barrels, 3 years in bottle) Dark ruby red; dark fruity nose, ripe cherries, blueberries, herbs, dark chocolate, vanilla; on the palate, opulent, round, concentrated, rich fruit, fine-grained tannins, mild acidity, long, dark fruit finish. A distinctly ripe and rich Ardanza, stylistically somewhat more opulent than in previous years; exceptionally high quality for the price.
