This fruit comes from two different plots in the village of Chambolle-Musigny, both of which are Premier Cru level. This is a scenario where the fruit is of very good quality, though blending the two sites together allows them to shine even brighter than on their own. The fruit is almost all destemmed, allowing for a brighter, fruitier style and the juice spends over a year in barrels, about 10-15% of which are new.
