Ramey 2016 is a Sonoma Coast Chardonnay with wine grapes sourced from 25-plus year old vines from Martinelli's Charles Ranch vineyard. Grapes are whole-cluster pressed, fermented in barrel with regular bâtonnage and matured one year in French oak barrels prior to bottling. Buttery and toasty on the nose, dry, full-bodied with ripe stone fruit, buttered popcorn and roasted nut flavours finishing long on the palate with great acidity to match.
