The grapes are picked by hand and go through a rigorous selection process. According to Chilean wine laws, the wine contains 85% Carmene berries, with the remaining 15% Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The reserve wine is kept for 18 months in French oak. The winemaker tries to preserve the freshness of the wine and exhibit the spicy berry flavor. The wine has a dry style. Black pepper, dried herbs and cocoa run parallel to cherry, plum and black berries in the wine. Koyle Reserva Carmenere is a medium-bodied wine with ripe, round tannic acids.
