It takes much swirling to evoke a few notes of black cherry on the nose of this wine. On the palate, however, the fruit is precisely drawn with the ripeness, freshness and aroma of black cherry. Hints of tar and smoke clings to the fruit but the midpalate is slightly textured and juicy.
