This expression reveals soft tar, spice and licorice softly woven into the dark flavors and rich texture that sits tight at the core. This was a cool and long growing season and the quality of the fruit is well preserved. Aged Dolcetto aromas, with some smoked meat and savory tobacco, might not appeal to everyone, but this wine is indeed unique and special at the end of the day.
