Aromas of forest floor and white pear flesh waft out of the glass, offering just a hint of petrol. This is a handsome wine, with perky acidity and white melon notes set against a backdrop of wet slate, lemon zest and evergreen trees. The finish takes an earthy turn, which only makes it feel all the more like you're in the forest or in the presence of a very tasteful cologne.
