The Domaine Mercouri Red is a blend of 85% Refosco and 15% Mavrodaphne grapes. The wine spends 10-12 months of maturation in French oak barrels, then rests in the bottle for at least another six months. It possesses a deep red color and a bouquet of red fruits accented with notes of mocha, vanilla and cinnamon — a subtle influence of the oak.This red is medium-bodied and well-structured with full, yet fine tannins.
