Very good deep color, is virtually opaque. The nose combines attractive, ripe dark-fruit aromas with clean new oak notes. On the palate lovely dark-berry fruit, supported by fresh acidity. The wine is of mid-weight & is very elegant with fine smooth tannins & toasty oak touches. Balanced alcohol gives fair length to the finish. Not highly concentrated but balanced, open & approachable now.
