The 2021 Corton Les Maréchaudes Grand Cru has a ripe nose with blackberry, raspberry coulis and light blood orange scents that are cohesive. The 70% whole bunches and two-thirds new oak are deftly enmeshed. The palate is medium-bodied with lithe tannins and is delicately spiced with white pepper and thyme. This is very focused with a slightly brittle and persistent finish. Superb. (2025 – 2045)
