Deep ruby. Bright floral aromas of sour red cherries and herbs on the inviting nose. Fresh and lively, offering very accurate Montepulciano flavors of delicately flinty plum and sour red cherry. Long and clean on the bright finish, which features noteworthy length, freshness and clarity. This will likely improve considerably if kept a few more years in a good cellar. Ferments in stainless steel, and ages in mostly used oak barriques (30% new, and 30% once-used).
