Garnet color. Aromas and flavors of rose and fine grade polished leather, chocolate covered cherries, black tea, and horehound candy with an full body and a charming, long finish displaying notes of tart black cherry, persimmon, pipe tobacco, and forest floor with gritty tannins. A high tannin wine that would benefit from some cellar time, but an excellent pairing with beef tartar, tomato sauces, or grilled meats.
