Ancien's only Oregon wine draws upon one of the state's premier vineyards. That said, this is about as light a Shea Vineyard designate as you'll find. The impression suggests that this comes from a young part of the vineyard, with such gently pretty flavors of cherry fruit and lemon tea. The aging in French oak adds a streak of sandalwood.
