Pungent slate notes combine with smoky spontaneous aromas in this excellent Sonnenuhr Spätlese. Such fine minerality here, with a touch more spark and more extract than the Kabinett – and generally more persistence. This has real crystalline fruit, intensity and focus, yet also weightlessness.
