The 2017 Vigneto San Cresci is laced with a whole range of floral and savory top notes that lend intrigue. Rose petal, mocha, sage, mint, cedar and leather all flesh out with a bit of time in the glass. Aromatically expressive, but reticent on the palate the 2017 needs a few years in bottle to be at its most giving. It certainly is both intriguing and distinctive.
