Far from his native Rhone valley, Michel Chapoutier has produced this 100% Shiraz in an extremely rare terroir of red soils which date back to the Cambrian era. While avoiding over-ripeness, he macerates the bunches and gently extracts the juice in order to obtain silky tannins. Its extremely refined tannic structure which melds with aromas of ripe fruits, spices, and caramel make for a powerful and elegant wine.
